Frequently Asked Questions

Product selection, customization, installation and technical support information for LED strip and flexible neon projects.

  1. What is JRLite, and what does it specialize in?

JRLite is a Shenzhen-based architectural linear lighting brand operated by Shenzhenshi Jingzheng Lighting Co., Ltd. We specialize in LED strips and flexible neon products rather than general lighting products such as bulbs and panels. Guided by our brand promise, “Deliver What You Design,” we support lighting designers, architects, contractors, distributors, and project partners in turning lighting concepts into practical product solutions.

  2. What types of LED strip and flexible neon products does JRLite offer?

We offer flexible neon products in large, medium, small, and specialty profiles, as well as SMD LED strips, COB LED strips, and flexible wall-washing products. Our application-focused solutions cover architectural and facade lighting, interior and millwork integration, cove and general lighting, submersible and wellness environments, optic and wall washing, long-run installations, and free-form lighting. Key product families include AIR, AXE, APO, ACE, WAVE, OPTIC, SAUNA, RONDO, BASS, and POP.

  3. Can JRLite customize products for a specific project?

Yes. We offer project-based customization for PCB design, LED type, chip brand, dimensions, end caps, product length, cables, connectors, and other specifications. Our customization process can include requirement analysis, product design, prototyping, mass production, and project-specific technical guidance. Feasibility, tooling, minimum order requirements, lead time, and commercial terms are confirmed after reviewing the project requirements.

  4. How can I choose the right JRLite product for my project?

You can use our Product Configurator to filter products by criteria such as bending direction, IP rating, dimensions, power, color temperature, CRI, SDCM, PCB width, LED quantity per meter, and LED type. Available configurations vary by product and may include 3D, side, or top bending; different indoor, outdoor, wet-location, and submersible protection options; multiple color temperatures; and different color-rendering and color-consistency levels. For non-standard or technically demanding applications, please submit a Technical Support request so our team can confirm the most suitable model and configuration.

  5. Which JRLite products are suitable for outdoor, underwater, and sauna applications?

Product suitability depends on the specific model and installation conditions, not on the IP rating alone. Some JRLite IP65 and IP67 products are designed for indoor or outdoor applications, while certain IP68 products are intended for wet locations but are explicitly marked as not suitable for underwater use. For underwater projects, select a model specifically designated for submersible applications, such as WAVE 1617S WHT, which is listed with IP68 and IP69 protection. For high-temperature wellness environments, SAUNA 1617S WHT is designed for wet and high-heat locations and is listed for operating temperatures up to 110°C. Before specification, please confirm the installation method, immersion conditions, water quality, depth, cable entry, connectors, ambient temperature, and maintenance requirements with JRLite.

  6. How should I handle long runs and voltage drop?

We offer Long Run Solutions and publish model-specific maximum run lengths. For example, AXE 1617 SL WHT is listed for a maximum single-ended run of up to 55 m at 4.8 W/m. JRLite also reports a record double-ended run of 105 m for the AXE series under a specific configuration. The applicable run length depends on the exact model, power, voltage, cable size, power-feed arrangement, connectors, and installation conditions, so the final electrical design should be confirmed for each project. Our Voltage Drop Calculator estimates the cable voltage drop between the power supply and the beginning of the LED strip; it does not replace a complete system-level voltage-drop and thermal assessment.

  7. What lighting control protocols does JRLite support?

Our product range includes DMX and SPI control options. Examples include AXE 1617 DMX RGBW, RONDO SPI RGB, BASS SPI RGBW, and WAVE 1617S DMX RGBW. Our Lighting Playbook also discusses DMX512, SPI, pixel pitch, and project-level integration with control ecosystems such as DALI and Casambi. DALI or Casambi integration may require compatible controllers, drivers, gateways, or protocol-conversion equipment and should be evaluated for each project. Before ordering, please confirm the product, controller, driver, wiring topology, addressing method, and system compatibility with our technical team.

  8. Where can I download technical documents and photometric files?

Our Resources section provides Datasheets & Manuals, IES/LDT photometric files, Brochures & Catalogs, a Voltage Drop Calculator, an Energy Calculator, and a Product Configurator. Available files include product datasheets, user instructions, product and ODM brochures, and IES/LDT files for selected models. If a required document or project file is not publicly listed, please contact our Technical Support team and specify the exact product model and file format required.

  9. How does JRLite support product quality and color consistency?

We operate an in-house JRLab and apply quality controls from raw materials through finished products. Our published testing capabilities include integrating-sphere measurement, mechanical impact testing, rainfall and IP testing, UV exposure, salt-spray testing, wire bending and swing testing, and environmental and aging tests. Our current public quality commitments include a product qualification rate above 99%, LED color tolerance within 3-step SDCM, the use of top-tier international raw-material brands, and a 95% on-time delivery rate. Certifications and test requirements vary by product and project. For project approval, please request the latest model-specific datasheet, applicable certificates, test reports, and report numbers from JRLite.

  10. How can I request a quote or technical support, and how are MOQ, lead time, and warranty confirmed?

You can use the Request A Quote or Technical Support form on our website, email info@jrlite.com, or call +86 755 2160 1337. Price, MOQ, sample availability, lead time, payment terms, and return terms depend on the product, configuration, quantity, and project requirements. Warranty also varies by model and configuration: many standard white-light products are listed with a 5-year warranty, while some dynamic-control products may have a different warranty period. The applicable warranty is stated in the latest product datasheet and formal quotation. To help us respond accurately, please provide the project type, installation environment, required IP rating, total run length, voltage and power, CCT and CRI, control protocol, order quantity, delivery schedule, and required certifications.
